The Dandelion Gatherings: Centering the Wellbeing of BIPOC Women Leaders

03/27/26
11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Join us as we hold space to connect around the ways that we can better support the wellbeing of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) women in our sector by sharing stories, practices, resources, and recharging in community.

The morning will include a storytelling circle facilitated by Healing by Choice!, followed by lunch and wellness-centered activities created to help participants pause, exhale, play, and replenish in community.

Registration is $15, though we never want cost to be a barrier. If the fee presents a challenge, please email our Senior Program Manager, Charnae Sanders at charnae@coactdetroit.org for support.

This special event is part of The Dandelion Gatherings, a convening series from the Transforming Solidarity Collective (Michigan Community Resources, NEW, and Co.act). These moments are designed to inspire, equip, and connect nonprofit leaders with one another as they work toward building a just and thriving society in a rapidly changing nonprofit landscape. Dandelions symbolize resilience, hope, and transformation, stemming from their ability to thrive and multiply in tough conditions.
