History In Motion

Five-Year Report

Culture shift and systems change do not happen overnight, and the work is never static. Instead, transformation like that happens when you create opportunities to break down barriers that may inhibit nonprofits from realizing their missions. These barriers are systemic, and they are rooted in social and racial inequities. To realize lasting transformational change, we foster collaboration across sectors, including nonprofit, philanthropic, government, corporate, and small business. We take smart risks to try new programs, leverage our knowledge, and listen to one another. Below are a few key milestones in which, in collaboration with our funders, partners, and nonprofit professionals, we’ve done just that.
