Co.act is committed to promoting equity in how resources are distributed to nonprofits in Southeast Michigan. We acknowledge and actively work to address racial funding disparities and limited access to capital, especially for leaders of color.

Our approach is centered on amplifying perspectives from those closest to these systemic issues. We increase access to resources for those traditionally excluded. And we build trust by meeting people where they are, while working transparently to set goals and remove barriers.

Co.act aims to advance best practices for participatory, community-centered grantmaking. We partner with philanthropy and nonprofits to reimagine how funds can be equitably distributed to support meaningful missions.
