Nonprofits in Action

Design Core Detroit and Co.act are excited to partner on Nonprofits in Action: The 2020 Design Showcase presented by Co.act Detroit! Co.act and Design Core recognize that nonprofits are often unable to invest in telling their own story.

Through this competition, we are seeking Southeast Michigan nonprofits who value collaboration and would like to explore design as a vehicle for communicating the social impact of their work. We will award two nonprofits with the chance to work with a designer to explore design as a vehicle for communicating the social impact by creating one-of-a-kind installation in Co.act Detroit’s historic showcase windows on Woodward Avenue.

Now, we need your help! The two winning nonprofits will be chosen by public vote. Based on the information below, please vote for one of the five nonprofits. As you make your decision, consider their story, collaborative action, and the overall impact of having their work featured at Co.act.
