Sessions will be grounded in equity as we balance the exploration of legal, HR and financial requirements as well as ways to strengthen team culture, redefine the work space and realign to mission.

Lessons Learned and Legal Guidance for Safely Returning to the Workspace This session features a panel discussion around what it means to safely return to the workplace in a COVID-19 environment, featuring the perspectives of an attorney, an insurance provider and a nonprofit leader. After reviewing key legal and regulatory requirements of re-entry they’ll discuss how to assess and manage risk and develop written plans that protect the most important assets and keep the health and safety of staff, volunteers and visitors as paramount. Along with practical tips from nonprofits who’ve started this journey, specific areas of discussion will also include: methods of social distancing, cleaning protocols, building signage, program delivery adjustments, OSHA requirements, visitor protocols, insurance policies, employee requests for ADA accommodations and much more. This session will include ample time for Q&A.
