In this unprecedented and disruptive time, nonprofit organizations heroically continue to step up and fill the gaps for communities most in need. But the people who make up these organizations are not immune to the risks of burnout, anxiety and overload. Now, as always, its imperative that we care not only for each other, but also for ourselves.
As part of our Nonprofit Wellbeing series, join us for weekly, virtual guided meditations led by Monica Breen, a healing arts practitioner. In a serene atmosphere, learn about the benefits of meditation and mindfulness and participate in guided meditation with our live group.
Monica is a healing arts practitioner who teaches and facilitates mind-body practices like yoga, meditation and mindfulness. Her work occurs in homes and community-spaces with physicians and mental health therapists; she also serves national pro-athletic teams, globally renowned universities, businesses, and organizations. In addition to her private practice, she leads workshops, present lectures, and facilitates seminars. Her approach is often informed by empathizing with those who have felt invalidated by the dominant culture and she has a focus on reducing power imbalances.
