Rebranding Our Failures for Resilience

Co.act Resource Library

In a time when many of us have adapted our normal lives, work, and habits for the collective good, join Shelley Danner, Co.act, and the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Detroit (YNPN Detroit) to self-reflect and celebrate our past mistakes in this virtual workshop.

Failure and resiliency are often celebrated in the startup world. What are the possibilities for community impact if nonprofit professionals were not afraid of failure? What kind of innovation and ingenuity could come out of our sector if we weren’t afraid of failing?

Shelly will explore what failure really means and help participants to take a deep dive into their failures in order to rebrand them into positive lessons. Having a positive outlook on your own failures will dispel the fear of failure and invite calculated risk taking in a time where everything feels risky.
