Join us for a new workshop as part of our Social Impact Leader Series in partnership with Young Nonprofit Professionals Network – DetroitJavacia Harris Bowser, founder and CEO of See Jane Write LLC, will guide you on a journey towards identifying your core values and begin to draft mission, vision, and personal brand statements.

 

During this one-hour, interactive workshop you will learn:

  • how to define your personal mission, vision, and values
  • how to live according to your core values at work and beyond
  • how to set goals that align with your personal mission and vision
  • how to create a personal brand that will help you accomplish your goals

Javacia Harris Bowser is a freelance journalist, blogger, essayist, and breast cancer survivor. She’s also the founder and CEO of See Jane Write LLC — a website, community, and coaching service created to give women writers the support they need to use their stories to make an impact and an income.

With over 15 years of professional writing experience, Javacia brings an impressive skill set to the table for the See Jane Write community and other groups, including blogging, reporting, personal narrative writing, editing, and personal brand building. And with 10 years of teaching experience, she knows how to pass these skills on to others, too.

Javacia was included in Southern Living magazine’s list of Innovators Changing the South, alongside household names like Dolly Parton and Reese Witherspoon and is the recipient of the 2022 Alabama Council on the Arts Fellowship. With a focus on women’s lifestyle, wealth, and wellness, Javacia has written for a number of local, regional and national media outlets including USA Today, HerMoney.com, Good Grit magazine, and The Birmingham Times. In 2020, her column for Birmingham magazine was awarded Best Magazine Column by the Alabama Press Association.
