This engaging and interactive multi-part series will provide guidance to Michigan’s nonprofits as they consider re-entry into the workplace. Sessions will be grounded in equity as we balance the exploration of legal, HR and financial requirements as well as ways to strengthen team culture, redefine the work space and realign to mission.

During this session you will hear from legal counsel, a nonprofit leader and a foundation’s HR manager as they share policies, procedures and practices they’ve developed while remaining committed to staff safety. We’ll discuss lessons learned from organizations that have continued working in their physical setting and adapted to align with evolving recommendations and requirements from the state. We’ll also address staff privacy and health screenings, supporting at-risk employees, procedures for isolating confirmed or symptomatic staff, the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) and much more. This session will include ample time for Q&A.
