Join us for a webinar to better understand your cash reserves and how to minimize your cash outflows. This virtual workshop will be presented by Erica Battle, nonprofit specialist with UHY, LLP. The webinar is free and will be hosted through Zoom, but registration is limited.

Erica is a CPA with UHY, LLP and has helped manage and grow their nonprofit industries practice since she joined the firm in 2014.  She has a Master’s degree in Accounting from Walsh College and a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from the University of Michigan.  Erica has over 20 years experience in providing accounting and management consulting services; with almost 15 years dedicated specifically to nonprofit entities.

Before returning to CPA work in 2014, she worked at Gilda’s Club Metro Detroit, Detroit Chamber Winds & Strings and the DIA.  She is an active volunteer in the community, currently serving on the boards of Gift of Life Michigan, Detroit Children’s Choir, Signal Return, The Scarab Club, DIA Friends of Arts & Flowers, and as an advisory board member for the National Association of Women Business Owners.  She serves as a grant panel reviewer for Michigan Council for Arts & Cultural Affairs and takes an active role in nonprofit education, having developed and presented several workshops over the years.

Erica is also a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA), the American Association of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Society of Nonprofits.
