Since 1993, NEW has been helping nonprofits succeed by strengthening management and offering solutions to issues facing the nonprofit community. Today, NEW and its partners provide educational, consultative and technological solutions to nonprofits across southeast Michigan, and beyond.
NEW’s Nonprofit Start Up Series is a four-part program designed to help folks launching a new organization get started on the right foot. You’ll learn the basics of forming a registered nonprofit, how to assemble your first board, developing a sustainable fundraising strategy, and best practices of financial management. Regardless of your experience in the nonprofit sector, the Start Up Series will help you look at each of these topics through the eyes of a founder and set your organization up for success!

- It’s Your First Board – Thursday, October 17th
- Nonprofit Finance 101 – Thursday, November 7th
- Your First Fund Development Plan – Thursday, December 5th
